2012 Annual Meeting of the Owners

The 2012 Annual Meeting of the owners will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012.   Official invitations and proxies should have already been sent.

It's an important meeting

1) We'll be voting on an amendment that would allow board elections to be held by mail ballot and we'd need 51% of all owners to vote in the affirmative for that amendment to carry.

2) We'll be electing three (3) out of five (5) board members.  The following 3 board positions are up for reelection:

- Mr. Kirk Waldrop
- Mr. Edison Fowler
- Mr. Tony Helms

If you are interested in helping out on the board, please visit the message board for more information.

Thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you in January.

-Joe Marroquin, President Shiloh Farms HOA

Tony Helms Appointed to the Board
One board member, Doug Crane, resigned from the board recently:  Doug & his family moved.

Since we had two volunteers for the 2011 board, Doug and Tony, the board went ahead and picked Tony to fill out the remainder of Doug's term which ends on January 28, 2012.

Tony has been active in the community serving on the ACC for over a year and coming to almost all of the board meetings so he is up to speed.

Welcome Tony!

Please help us keep our amenities safe

With our broader community maturing and our amenities in very high demand, some people will not hesitate to steal the use of the amenities that we have worked very hard to build and maintain.

1) Please make sure that the pool gate remains closed at all times (this helps keep unsupervised children from endangering themselves by entering the pool area and also keeps strangers from illegally entering the pool)

2) Please do not allow people to piggyback into the pool.  That person might be a stranger intent on stealing the use of our amenities or intent on theft or other criminal activity.

3) If you see strangers playing tennis or using the playground, feel free to do the neighborly thing and introduce yourselves - ask them what part of Shiloh they live in.  I always feel safer when I know that the person standing next to me is not a stranger but my neighbor from up the hill.  If they turn out not to be from Shiloh,  you can tell them that this is private property (if you feel comfortable making that statement) or you can call the police or a board member to help you handle the situation.

If at any point you feel unsafe or threatened by the presence of a stranger, try to remove yourself from danger by leaving and dialing 911.  Please only do what you feel safe doing.
