We've transitioned property management companies to Heritage Property Management from HMS. Heritage is an established Atlanta based company that is a licensed property management company. They are about 2 or 3 times bigger than HMS. Heritage already sent out an introductory letter and invoices for 2014. Annual meeting notices will be sent in the coming days. The assessment will be the same as last year and you'll have 30 days to send your remittance.
We'll host a detailed session at the annual meeting to share the details.
The association reached quorum on Oct. 12 and conducted elections for its two open board positions. Jeff Johns and Joe Marroquin were elected for 3 year terms.
To recap, the current Shiloh Farms board of directors is as follows:
Joe Marroquin (thru 2016)
Jeff Johns (thru 2016)
Edison Fowler (thru 2015)
Tony Helms (thru 2015)
Malay Dave (thru 2014)
Again, thank you very much for coming and for sending your proxies. Having a duly elected board brings many benefits to our association: 1) it most importantly keeps the board under the democratic control of we-the-owners; 2) it really helps put the association in solid footing with respect to insurance, legal and constitutional matters; 3) it serves as a reminder to all parties who might be interested (some of them outside our association) that the owners are watching & take an interest in the affairs of Shiloh and that the Shiloh board represents the association at the pleasure and discretion of its owners.
