2017 Shiloh Farms HOA Meeting Debrief
At our annual neighborhood meeting with the quorum, we were able to elect a new board member - Hokan Ojert.  The neighborhood wants to thank Steve Schmitt, outgoing President, for his three years of service and leadership.
 
Key highlights from this year's Annual Meeting:
  •  Capital Improvements:
    • A new kid/toddler playground to replace old one; install estimated for March/April
    • A floating court to be built over the lower-tennis court that includes a 25 year Manufacturer’s Warranty; install estimated for June
  • Financials:
    • Expenses below budget for the year allowing us to add to the reserves
    • Additional reserve allocation offsets capital improvement projects keeping the account balances for 2017 steady
 
Immediately after the annual meeting, the board met for its required organizational meeting and selected our officers for the year.
 
The 2017 Shiloh Farms Board of Directors:
  • President - Joe Souder (Belmont) – Term ends in 2019
  • Vice President – Hokan Ojert (Ridgefield) – Term ends in 2020
  • Treasurer – Jason Lillis (Crofton) – Term ends in 2018
  • Secretary – Sanjay Pankhania (Belmont) – Term ends in 2018
  • Member at Large – Matt Steinmetz (Crofton) – Term ends in 2019
Please feel free to visit the neighborhood website for all meeting and monthly financials.  We would also like to extend an invitation to each member to our monthly board meetings, which are held every 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30PM at the Clubhouse.  Our next meeting is February 20th.
 
Also, please consider volunteering for the many committees that we have in the neighborhood.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to invest back into your neighborhood!  Here’s to a wonderful and prosperous 2017!

Security Locks
  • Locks are now operational (for access to the upper tennis courts, tennis bathrooms, pool, and pool bathrooms).  Everyone should have your new access cards so we encourage you to carry them to be able to access the facilities. The upper courts and restrooms require access cards.
  • Due to recent vandalism on the lower courts, the board installed temporary padlocks. The code for the padlock can be found under the Amenities link under the Tennis section.  It requires the homeowner to log into his/her account.  Please note that you have to squeeze down on the lock to release.  Do not share this combination with non-homeowners.  Be sure to lock the door when you leave the lower courts (change the numbers to get the lock to close).
  • If you see suspicious activity please call 911.  Money spent on vandalism repairs is money out of everyone's pocket!  That means less money for other enhancements/activities.
Volunteers
  • This is a 100% volunteer driven effort, we need your help
  • Thanks so much for those that have recently volunteered 
  • We are looking for anyone who knows about motion cameras, motion lights
  • We are also restarted the Welcome Committee
  • Movie Night, Pool Party events, among others need volunteers!

Property Management 
 
Starting on December 1, 2014,  Shiloh Farms will transition to Community Management Associates, Inc as our new Agent and Property Manager.
